Pounding Drums, driving Bass and screeching Guitar flit hand in hand with melodic Mandolin, partial nudity and attitude filled lyrics. When The Whipjacks hit the stage, it’s time to raise your drink and try not to spill it on your mates, which is easier said than done. The Five piece band hail from the lazy little city of Worcester and over the last few years they have worked hard to earn their place in the world of live music.  A place they continue to prove they deserve with appearances in place at festivals such as Nozzstock, Mello festival and Lakefest. The Whipjacks bring a foot-stomping, rampage of energy to the stage and the emphasis of their brand of ‘Speed folk’ is entertainment, not self indulgence.

Artiphunk create vibrant and hard edged funk rock. James Mattey and the Clifford brothers never fail to provide a unique show with a radiant assortment of their own original material. Their debut EP, ‘Punch of Phunk’, is out now on Spotify and iTunes soon to be followed by their new single ‘Joy Ride’ coming out in Spring 2018. They have also recorded and filmed a live session with BBC Introducing Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
James Mattey, Leeds College of Music composition graduate is the band’s lead guitar/vocalist. James forges commanding riffs accompanied by powerful vocal lines to front the essence of Artiphunk.
Adam Clifford, engineer by trade and engineer of Artiphunk’s trademark intricate bass lines involving slap, always excites audiences at every show.
Dan Clifford, current Leeds College of Music Production student, slots in with his bro to form the fat funk back bone of Artiphunk. Adding backing vocals to the mix as well, Dan fuels the engine room of Artiphunk.
The guys have been together for 5 years based in the West Mids/Leeds and guarantee a performance that will get you gripped to their unique, hefty funk rock vibe. Influences from artists such as Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine and Muse shine through their music.

Indigo Glitch are an exciting live band starting to make a big name for themselves on the local scene. With a classic, 2-guitars/bass/drums line-up featuring 2-part female harmonies, they combine razor-sharp musical arrangements with infectious, melodic hooks to create a powerful rock/pop sound that affords each song its own unique flavour, allowing the quality of their song-writing to shine through. 2 self-produced cd releases in the past 6 months, Indigo Glitch have already attracted attention from producers and promoters around the country so 2018 is shaping up to be a breakthrough year for one of the Midlands’ best new bands. Catch them while you can!

Ajay Srivastav is a singer songwriter who plays an eclectic mix of Delta Blues, Indian Folk and Americana with spiritual and meditative lyrics. Raw, passionate and uplifting, his laid-back style transcends musical borders with a sound that flows from the banks of Delta Blues to the sacred river of Indian raags.

Ajay has worked with among others, Jamiroquai, Gregory Isaacs and Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan. His song-writing skills have been touted by British music legend Jah Wobble, who has produced two of his forthcoming tracks.  Ajay’s passion for music has taken him on a journey that has seen him work as a tour-guitarist, compose for film and theatre and write Top 10 hits in India. www.ajayhq.com
