RELATIVITY TOUR 2024: Journey Beyond the Stars with HAWKLORDS – Where Space-Rock Meets the Future. Brace Yourself for a Cosmic Odyssey through Time, Sound, and Perception.

Originally formed in 1978 from the ashes of The Sonic Assassins, by Robert Calvert and Dave Brock (of Hawkwind).

RELATIVITY TOUR 2024

Lose your mind and save your soul on a roller-coaster ride of pure Space-Rock & Roll

Expect a cosmic head-trip as HAWKLORDS return to the UK tour circuit to promote their 11th studio album, RELATIVITY. Sounding, at times, as if the music has fallen through a worm-hole from the classic 1970s era of space-rock and psychedelia, the new release explores themes including Artificial Intelligence, ‘machine learning’ and how Humanity can, in part, come to terms with all that entails.

Guitarist, Jerry Richards: “It’s about perspectives, really. Perception depends upon where you’re standing when you witness what it is that you see, hear, or feel. As [Albert] Einstein said, ‘“Everything is relative.”’ This new album explores observations of our shared reality: That which was, that which is and that which is yet to be.”

The band has toured the UK and Europe consistently since rebooting in 2008.

JERRY RICHARDS:  Guitar & Vocals – veteran of the UK free festival scene of the 1980’s. Lead guitarist, writer and producer with Hawkwind, 1995 to 2000 and founder member of The Hawklords.

DAVE PEARCE:  Drums – Dave has been a member of Hawklords since 2010 and he is also a member of renowned British psych-rock band, The Bevis Frond.

MR DIBS: Bass & Vocals – Bassist, lead vocalist and a writer with Hawkwind 2007 to 2018. Dibs joined Hawklords in 2021.

The Arboretum

Intense, original, genre defining music, The Arboretum’s live shows combine stunning visuals with a rich and powerful Psychedelic Rock sound. Where electronic sequences combine with powerful industrial rhythms, shimmering guitars, dirty bass lines and expansive vocals. The Arboretum explore the narrative in their music that builds on themes of hope in these uncertain, dark and dystopian times. The band comprises of brothers Keith & Chris Trim. Chris is the vocalist and guitarist, and Keith plays bass, keyboards & computer programming. As quoted in a recent SlapMag review: ‘Their music is a propulsive wave of Psych Rock, Trance, and Post Punk sound hurtling at you from an eerily lit stage, resulting in a thoroughly absorbing experience. The one thing you can be sure of about this band is that your eyes, as well as your ears, are in for a treat as the highly imaginative back projection mirrors the content of each track.
