Named after Elder Scrolls game Skyrim, Bournemouths THUUM are quick to point out that they more than just a nod to a video game. Combining sludge ridden riffs, with epic melodies, its music written with the purpose of pushing the groove, whilst exploring boundries, but maintaining their own sound.
Working hard to build a strong reputation as a must see live band, the band play various towns and events across the country such as Uprising festival, Mosh Against Cancer, Mammothfest, and supporting bands such as Crowbar, Orange Goblin, Stake and The Ocean.
Thuum’s highest accolade to date has been the invitation to play Bloodstock Festival. Firstly in 2017 on the New Blood Stage, where they were the only band from that stage to be reviewed Kerrang! that year receiving 4Ks, and formerly in 2022, where they returned, but this time to an almost full tent on the Sophie Lancaster Stage
Now, after a world pandemic and a big line up change, and Thuum have stormed back into the UK scene with new flame lit, coming armed with new material, new direction and drive where only the sky is the limit!
