THE FIDGETS: A young guitar-pop band based in Worcester.

“Intelligent songwriters with catchy riffs and killer choruses” – Andrew Marston, BBC H&W

“Guitar rock and pop melodies. Beautiful harmonies” – Amber Astron, The Marble Cat

“Beatles like strums, infectious pop harmonies… naggingly brilliant hook laden chorus” – SLAP magazine

Made up of Max Stockin and Ryan Skidmore, both on vocals and guitar, The Fidgets began performing in March 2013 in and around Bromsgrove, quickly expanding across the Midlands, mostly in Birmingham and Worcester. Over the past two years they have perfected their performance skills through hours of busking, performing for the 500th time in early 2016, amassing a huge repertoire of songs.

They have been songwriting since they formed, developing their own style from the influences in the covers they play. Their first EP ‘I’m Alright’ was released in April 2015, consisting of 4 original songs. This was followed in Summer 2016 by their first single ‘Hey!’ and subsequent EP ‘It’s Only You’, the title track of which was recently track of the week for BBC Introducing Hereford and Worcester.

The Fidgets brand new single, ‘Everywhere I Go’, is scheduled for release in February 2017.
