Young Tony Mac’s Jam Night Special

Hello all,

Last year we put on the ‘Young Tony Mac’s’ Jam night for an amazing man we lost in December ‘22.
He was a larger than life character who was always a great laugh to be around. His presence was incredible! Not only that he was a fond musician and loved watching and being part of the live music scene.
So, we want to keep his great memory alive by celebrating the fantastic man’s life, and attitude (when life was at its hardest) by getting together with all of you beautiful people, and jamming out an evening of live music, drinking and dancing! Because that’s what he did best!
While doing this we will be raising lots of money towards cancer research and care.
Last year we raised over £500, which was split between two charities very close to our hearts – The beacon camera club (Malvern) and Macmillan.
We have decided that because last year was such a successful evening, we want to make ‘Young Tony Mac’s jam night special’ an annual event. This is a public event and would absolutely love for you all to come along! Everyone is welcome.

Last year we got a list of songs together, and people were able to get up and join in where they felt comfortable. We’ll have 1-1.5hrs of acoustic acts and then on to the bands! I would like to be more organised than last year so please do message and get involved!

Charity:

He battled with a rare type of cancer called PMP (pseudomyxoma peritonei). Unfortunately there’s still not a major amount of research done in this area, and there are only two specialists in the country that deal with it. We will be raising money to go towards the research in this area as well as the support and care that families and patients will need going through such a difficult time.
