Jesse’s 30th Birthday

The agening nearens. On 12th April I will turn 30 smears old.

I have milked the tail-end of my 20s sufficiently and now it will all come crashing down. Scared but not alone I will cry my decennial conclusion to you the only way I know how: With a fucking good gig. New songs, old faces – namely mine, emphasis on old.

The venue is the very familiar Marrs Bar, just by Foregate Street Station for those of you out of town. Brian has graciously allowed me to reserve the place for a proper gig, tickets £6 in advance, £7 on the door – we will be allowed to stay until around 11:30pm. It’ll be a great night and I’d love to see a bucketful of friendly faces and show you what I can do if you don’t already know. This is one-part-gig and one-part-birthday party – however everyone is welcome, invite friends and friends of friends and your neighbourhood curtain-twitcher and your favourite Uber driver bring ’em all.

And if that ain’t enough there’s a rumour, just a rumour, that the star of one of Chortle’s selections for the most uniquely named shows of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015 might be making a support slot appearance. You do not want to miss that.
