Following the critical and commercial success of their recent album trilogy, SIX (2017), Brave New World (2018) and Heaven’s Gate (2019), Hawklords return to the UK tour circuit with their new studio album, “TIME”
Featuring key former Hawkwind members, Jerry Richards (guitar and vocals) and Fred Reeves AKA Dead Fred (keyboards and vocals) the band line-up is completed by long-time members Dave Pearce (drums) and Tom Ashurst (bass and vocals).
The 2020 album explores mankind’s internal and existential relationship with the fluid nature of Time.
Through memory, experience, poetry and sensation, electronica and songs, Hawklords pick up the tempo to deliver a mesmerising selection of musical works as they chart their own course through the Chronosphere and beyond…
“TIME” – the band’s Ninth consecutive studio album – will be released, worldwide, in October 2020 to coincide with their UK tour dates.

The Arboretum – A sonic wall of sound, featuring loud guitars, deep grimy bass lines, industrial electronic rhythms, all layered over an alternative/industrial rock type vibe. Signed to Luminol Records http://www.luminolrecords.com/the-arboretum/ since 2021, The Arboretum continue to explore the narrative in their music by developing its lyrical layers that build on themes of hope in these uncertain, dark and challenging times. Working remotely through recent lockdowns they were busy developing and recording material to produce a series of single releases during 2020 into 2021 culminating in the release of their second album ‘Falls the Shadow’ in Feb 2021 on Luminol Records.
‘Falls The Shadow’ was described by Worcester’s SlapMag: ‘Falls The Shadows is an intriguing, inventive and thought-provoking state of the nation address, the perfect soundtrack to these troubled and uncertain times. Sure, there’s some big issues addressed, but there’s also hope, optimism and a big hook or two contained within, I highly recommend exploring The Arboretum.’
