Alt-rock quartet CIARS return to the Marrs Bar on Friday 30th January, sounding better than ever. The band will perform their debut EP Madeline in full, alongside brand-new material and an evolved sound. Expect fuzz-drenched guitar solos, world-class drumming, and infectious, hook-filled choruses.

Having just wrapped up their first year gigging across Worcestershire and beyond, CIARS have already been backed by BBC Introducing as Artist of the Week and have taken to the Lakefest Main Stage, performing alongside the likes of Manic Street Preachers, Kula Shaker, Happy Mondays, and more.

The night kicks off with local heavyweights Redskies, bringing their infectious energy to open the show. This is a night of full-on guitar music you won’t want to miss — get your tickets now.

CIARS are an alt-rock quartet from Worcestershire, blending loud, guitar-driven music with jazz-influenced drums and shoegaze-leaning textures. Known for their raw and infectious live performances, the band combine anthemic choruses, heavy riffs, and dynamic rhythms to create a sound that feels timeless yet distinctly contemporary.

Drawing influence from Hendrix-style guitar solos, the thick fuzz of The Smashing Pumpkins, and the swirling atmospheres of Catherine Wheel, CIARS channel the spirit of classic alternative through a modern lens.
