Angels of Darkness are a gothic rock tribute band based in Birmingham, UK with a live show delivering an almost encyclopaedic collection of music in the World of Goth: from a to Dead! Angels of dArkness hAve been described As A “Weird beautiful mixture of exquisite excellence”.
Expect classic tunes from goth originators such as Bauhaus and Siouxsie and the Banshees through to the likes of Sisters of Mercy and Killing Joke, sprinkled with a few crowd-pleasers from artists who take influence from the heady heyday of the eighties goth erA And beyond. you will be left ‘spellbound’ As their eclectic set provides something to sAtisfy everyone’s dArk tAstes.
The members of the band have a wealth of varied talents and experience, combining to be a force to reckon with and complementing eAch other’s deepest, dArkest quAlities…
Lady Rex (keys and vocals) is a multi-instrumentalist with the voice of a dark angel who performs across a broad spectrum of music, including playing for the likes of Jack Goodall and symphonic ibizA. originAlly A clAssicAlly trAined musiciAn, it didn’t tAke long for her to apply those skills to her first love: rock and goth music.
Lady Rex plays: Roland Fantom-08 keyboard
Doctor Diabolus (guitar and vocals) has toured Europe with various bands including TV appearances in France and Holland as well as having songs that reached the top three in the UK Independent Charts. Known for playing guitar with flaming fire sticks, he takes his inspiration from Killing Joke, Sisters of Mercy, and a very unpleasant childhood.

rik rAven (drums) A.k.A. ‘rAven’ has founded several succesfful bands including Flamin’ Slade: a tribute to Slade, who supported chart acts like Bad Manners and Doctor and the medics, And feAtured on rAdio 2 dJ Jo wiley’s show. rAven hAs plAyed mAny tribute venues around the country and has featured on various shows on TV.
Raven plays: Ludwig Super Classic kit in champagne sparkle with Black Beauty (customised) Snare. Gdon (bass and vocals) is fresh meat in the music industry. He has played for Capitol Slush and Man Made Hell – two vastly different projects – and is also a solo artist with albums and singles released under Gdong. He is no stranger to crafting songs: there is no end to the cesspool thAt is gdon’s mind.
